Baby Watch: 14 Weeks.

Well, sportsfans, I am currently 14 {and a half, but who's counting} weeks pregnant! This means baby is growing like a weed and it is starting to show!

Baby Klahn is currently the size of a lemon.
Hard to believe that little lemon makes THIS happen!

the yellow shirt is a coincidence, but it is nice that baby and i are matching!

So far I have still been blessed to feel healthy with very little sickness. We are VERY excited to find out whether Baby Klahn is Baby Boy or Baby Girl, so the fun of registeries and nursery decor can really begin!

Score Update.

Klahn Household: 2 1/2.
Monsters: 1/2.

I am giving the laundry a half point because I am still in the process of destroying it. All in all, I'm calling it a victory.

Monsters, Inc.

If you think monsters aren't real, think again, friends.

I have several living in my house right now...

1. The Laundry Monster: I live in fear that this monster is going to come to life and eat me alive in the middle of the night, by its sheer strength and mass. You can try to rid yourself of this thing, but it never.goes.away.

2. The Christmas Explosion Monster: I love Christmas. I love having my house decorated for Christmas. But I really hate the my-house-is-half-undecorated-because-I-am-pregnant-and-too-tired-to-do-anything-after-work look that we are sporting right now. Note: Yes, I have taken down all outside decor so as not to look like the Clampett's.

3. The Weather Monster - Bad weather equals two extremely messy members of my house that insist on trucking in and out every day. Well, ok, they don't actually insist on it, I do. Cleaning up rain, snow, and mud is better than the alternative.

Can you guess who is a primary culprit?

But, I'll have you know I plan to attack all of these monsters between now and Sunday evening, and they shall be banished for a week good.

Hello, swollen pregnancy hands. Goodbye, beautiful engagement ring that I love. I will miss you for the next six months.

At least the wedding band still fits...for now!

A Farewell to 2009.

Well friends and fam, since 2009 has come to a close, I wanted to write a little Klahn-Year-In-Review. Enjoy the trip down Memory Lane!

January 2009: A quiet month for us. January's are like that, I think.

February 2009: My sis-in-law, Misty, threw a killer 24th birthday bash for me {literally}. It was a 1920's themed murder mystery!

March 2009: Game night for Andrew's 22nd birthday.

April 2009: Added Sadie to our family! She was so tiny!

May 2009: Lived in our house for a YEAR! Vacationed in Mom & Dad's old stomping grounds - the Florida Keys. Stayed at a gorgeous resort in Key West. What fun!

June 2009: Went to Chicago for our 2nd anniversary. Stayed in our first B&B while there.

July 2009:
Steve McNair's untimely death. Titans fans everywhere were at least a little sad.

August 2009: This was a busy month! I started this lovely blog. We took a relaxing trip to Crossville, TN and did a little fishin'! Threw a bachelorette party and my sis-in-law's birthday - Summer of '69 theme!
September 2009:
My BFF got married! Andrew & I were proud to both be part of the big day.

October 2009:
Annual Klahn pumpkin carving & harvest festival. We also got a visit from our West Coast friends - the Blaylocks!

November 2009:
Found out that we are going to be Mommy & Daddy in 2010 - our biggest adventure yet!

December 2009: Andrew was awarded as the National Apartment Leasing Professional of the Year {this wife is so proud!} We spent a wonderful Christmas at home.

We had a pretty amazing year, and know the next promises to bring even more joy & love into our lives.

Happy New Year from the Klahns!
