Organization 101: you need a fancy calendar.

This is such a busy time of year for us! There are lots of wonderful fun things going on, and lots to keep up with in between. I am trying to take in all in stride and not get stressed out. The key to this, for me, is staying organized. If I feel organized, then I can take on the world.

Thanks to the Erin Condren Life Planner, I am oh-so-organized this holiday season. These babies were on Groupon a few weeks ago at 50% off, and after hinting to my mom that I might like one for Christmas, she snagged it and told me to go ahead and order it so I could start enjoying it. It's so adorable! Customized with our names on the front, and lots of fun quotes on the inside to keep the months fun.

My to-do list on the side of the weekly glance page this week includes everything from mail Christmas cards (check!), call florist (check!), make poms (...remains undone), and wrap gifts (check!) I love that I can see my week, and there is plenty of room to list not only appointments, but all my errands and items I need to get done at home.

With business busyness (woah, try saying that three times fast), a darling girl and my hubby to spend time with at home, the never-ending laundry monster, and getting together with family & friends this holiday season, organization keeps me sane and helps me have time for everything - including hanging out on the couch and blogging (but see above for all the things I! have! already! done! this week.)

In short, thanks Erin Condren, for making me a nicer, calmer person this holiday season. And although you may not actually need a fancy-schmancy calendar, it does make it more fun to be organized (color coordinating Sharpies and all, come on, let your inner nerd shine!) By the way, look how cute this thing is!
